Imran Khan's March Participants Barred From Accommodating in Islamabad Hotels

Imran Khan’s supporters have been barred from staying in Islamabad hotels due to security concerns, local media reported citing the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairperson will lead his ‘Azadi March’ towards the federal capital on November 2, calling on the government to resign and give people their rights. The party fears that if the government blocks all roads leading to Islamabad, the participants of Khan’s march won’t be able to stay overnight in the city.

Hectic times at AOA Rawalpindi

The hoteliers of Rawalpindi were left disgruntled this past week after being told that they could not accommodate participants of Imran Khan's march at their hotels due to a ban imposed by the district administration. This is unfair, said Qazi Athar, owner of the Pearl Continental Hotel. We have cancelled all our reservations for Friday and Saturday because we cannot accommodate any more guests.

Hotel rooms are at a premium during the march as many participants will be staying in the city for a few days. If you're looking to stay close to the Red Zone then consider one of the following hotels: Pearl Continental, Pearl Tower or Grand Hotel.
