1) Drain the gas and refill with fresh fuel. 


2) Keep the air filter clean by cleaning it or replacing it. 


3) Lubricate any moving parts that need attention with a light machine oil. 


4) Thoroughly wash off all dirt and debris from the lawn mower using a hose or pressure washer. Be sure to get under the deck of the lawn mower where dirt may have collected during its use this year.

 Allow time for drying before covering so as not to attract bugs, mold, or mildew during storage periods.
